Dormer Roofs across London
A dormer is a mini roof: it has a flat or pitched top, side cheeks and a front face, and each is a potential leak point. The junction with the main roof is the most complex, requiring correct lead or GRP detailing.
We build roofs on new dormers and repair or refurbish existing ones. Typical work includes flat roof coverings in GRP, EPDM or lead, tile hanging or slate cladding to the cheeks and flashings that tie the dormer into the main roof.

Our dormer roofing work
For new dormers we coordinate with your builder, fit insulated decks, the waterproof covering and the cheek cladding. We often use GRP on the top for a seamless finish and lead at the junctions.
For existing dormers we repair or renew the covering, flashings and cheeks and replace rotten timber. We also insulate where required, because dormers are a common source of heat loss in loft rooms.
