What to do while you wait
If it is safe, move belongings away from the leak, put buckets under drips and pierce a small hole in a bulging ceiling to let water drain in a controlled way. Switch off the electrics if water is near lights or sockets. Never go onto the roof yourself, especially in wind or rain, and take photographs from the ground or from inside, which will help any insurance claim.
When we arrive we make the building safe first. That might be fitting a tarpaulin, replacing a few tiles, patching a flat roof or boarding up. Then we explain the permanent fix and give you a written quote.

What should I do if my roof is leaking right now?
Move valuables, catch drips in buckets, keep away from wet electrics and call us. Do not go onto the roof yourself. If water is near electrics, switch them off at the fuse board.

Often we can make it watertight on the first visit, either with a full repair or a temporary one. If materials need to be ordered or the repair is larger, we protect the building and book in the permanent work.
