Skylight work we carry out
We fit pitched roof windows with the manufacturer flashing kit, working the lead or aluminium flashing into the tiles or slates correctly. In flat roofs we build upstands, fit rooflights and lanterns and waterproof the surround.
When you add a roof window to a loft conversion, we can coordinate with your builder and cut the opening to suit the structure. For existing windows we re-seal, re-flash or replace the unit.

Planning and building regulations
Roof windows usually do not need planning permission in a pitched roof on a house, but rules differ for conservation areas, listed buildings and flats. Roof windows used as escape routes in loft conversions have specific requirements. We advise on this and see dormer roofs for larger additions.
