How we repair roofs
We repair like for like wherever possible. Slipped or broken tiles are replaced with matching ones, failed flashings are renewed in lead or a suitable alternative, mortar-bedded ridge and hip tiles are re-bedded, and damaged battens and felt are cut out and replaced. On older properties we take the time to source reclaimed tiles that match, because a roof that looks right also lasts right.
If the repair is not the sensible answer, we say so. When a roof has reached the end of its life, spending money on patching is false economy, and we will show you why before recommending a replacement.

A roof with widespread slipping, failed felt, rotten battens or repeated leaks in different places is usually telling you it is time to replace it. How much does a roof repair cost in London?
It depends on the size of the repair, the roof type and access. A few replacement tiles is a small job; repairing a failed valley or re-lead flashing takes more time and materials. We inspect first and give you a free written quote with a fixed price.
Can you repair my roof in one day?
Many repairs are completed in a single visit. Larger jobs, or those that need scaffolding, take longer. We will tell you the expected time on the quote.
Will you match my existing tiles?
Yes, we do everything we can to match them, including sourcing reclaimed clay tiles and natural slate for period properties and conservation areas.
Do I need scaffolding for a roof repair?
Not always. Small repairs can often be done from ladders or a roof ladder, but where the work is at height or the roof is steep we use scaffolding or a tower for safety. We include it in the quote and arrange any licences.
